3 May Nakba Art Workshop and chat about Palestine

Nakba Art Workshop and chat about Palestine at The Tabernacle, Rodborough.
Join us for an art workshop led by artist Val Saunders making keys, banners and placards in preparation for the May 16th PSC Nakba 78: March for Palestine.
The theme for the workshop is keys as they symbolise the homes lost during the Nakba (catastrophe) of 1948 when over 700,000 Palestinians were forcibly displaced during the destruction of their homeland as the result of Israeli ethnic cleansing operations.
All materials supplied, bring sheets of strong cardboard and postal tubes if you can! Please indicate your attendance using this booking link. https://tinyurl.com/2my74x2f
Alongside the workshop there will be a designated Palestine solidarity space for anyone to informally discuss and brainstorm ideas relating to PSC Stroud District.
This is a free event but donations will go to cover costs and the remainder go to the Hands Up Project. Booking and more Info Here.
6 May Palestine Cymru Food Solidarity.

Building solidarity between Wales and Palestine through food and farming
Dewch i glywed am fwyd a ffermio yn Ngaza, a creu mudiad undod trwy fwyd rhwng Cymru a Phalesteina.
How do people organise to feed each other in the most extreme conditions imaginable? At this webinar we will learn how food and farming work in Gaza. We will hear from the Sameer Project, which organises grass-roots community kitchens along with many other activities, and about their partner the Arab Group for the Protection of Nature, which is supporting farming.
We will also consider how we might build food solidarity between Wales and Palestine, supporting the Palestinians and being inspired by their resilience. All ideas welcome!
Tickets are free, but we encourage you to give a donation to the Sameer Project more here.
