Dr Anne Irfan is a historian and lecturer at University College London, researching the history and politics of Palestinian displacement. She is author of the books Refuge and Resistance: Palestinians and the international refugee system (Columbia University Press, 2023) and A Short History of the Gaza Strip (Simon & Schuster, 2025), and her work has also appeared in academic publications including the Journal of Palestine Studies, Journal of Genocide Research, Journal of Refugee Studies and Jerusalem Quarterly. She has contributed to media channels including Al Jazeera, The Nation, +972 and Jewish Currents, among others. Register here.

Palestine Solidarity Campaign — Stroud District is calling on all members and supporters to get on board the coach and head to London on the 10th of October.
We will be marching again for Palestine in London.
The itinerary (to be confirmed) will be something like this:
PICK-UP POINTS (this is departure time – please arrive 15 mins earlier)
GLOS: 8:00 Go Outdoors, Car park (Please message if you are coming from Gloucester)
STROUD: 8:15 (Stratford Park Leisure Centre Car Park)
RETURN MEETING POINT: At 4:15 make your way to Millbank the intersection of Horseferry & Lambeth Bridge (SW1P 4PN) tbc
It is just straight on from Whitehall. The coach will depart from Millbank between 4:30 and 4:45.
