Friends of Hebron
Israeli soldiers have kicked out families from their homes, and settlers have taken over their houses in Hebron! We are writing to share a short video update from Issa Amro, co-founder of Friends of Hebron,
He is speaking directly from Hebron about the current situation on the ground — including the ongoing war and recent legal changes affecting the West Bank. In moments like these, we believe it is important to hear directly from those living the daily reality in Hebron. Issa shares what these developments mean for local families and for the work of nonviolent community organizing. We hope to begin sharing updates like this on a monthly basis, so that you can hear directly from the people working on the ground.
A share a short clip of Issa speaking at the opening of Ahmad Film House, our new community cinema. Opening remarks in Arabic
Here is a short film in honor of Ahmad Amro, who the film house is named after.
